Mosaic Letter “E”

One of my sisters-in-law asked me to make a New Orleans’ themed letter “E” for her boss.  He loves New Orleans, so I pulled together the brightest pieces I could find and went to work.  I made the leaves and crab from polymer clay.  I found the metal Mardi Gras mask at Goodwill and the jazz singer at a locat antique store.

My husband loves penquins so I made one.  I used black and white china, buttons, black beads and I made the bow from polymer clay.  After I paint the clay pieces, I put a coat of clear, finger nail polish on top to make it shine.  Then I spray the entire piece with clear gloss.

Ta-Da – black and white penquin with shine.

Shiny red polymer clay bow…

Buttons and black beads.

Mosaic switch plate with smoking pipe

This mosaic double switch plate is built on a wood frame and features a smoking pipe, a pair of men’s slippers, lots of pretty dishes and an ace of spades.  It would make a nice addition to any man’s office.

This double switch plate is also built on a wood frame and is definitely for racing enthusiasts.  It even comes with a key!
